Sorry for the short reports, been quite busy.
Yesterday- Windy and sunny. Unlike the past few days there was not a bug in the air or a rising fish that I saw all day. I think the firs BWO’s on a large scale may be done. May be some more on our next cloudy rainy day,,,,,Oh, Wednesday it looks like.
Water is clear, fish are getting a bit spooky even though it is still April. Be stealth for best results.
Gray caddis should be next, tie some up. (I hope thy wait until after the season re-opens)
The Wisconsin Early Trout Season Will close on Sunday April 27 at Midnight and open again on Saturday May 3rd for the beginning of the harvest season. Don’t get caught on the water during this time period or it will cost you.
Good luck out there. Keep the reports coming!

Had a good day though…9 fish and a 16+ incher. Waiting for the grey caddis
So does the catch and release season end when the clock strikes midnight and it becomes Sunday……or do we have all Sunday to fish and at the very end of Sunday at midnight the season ends?
You Can fish on Sunday
