Just got an email from a fellow angler heading this direction for the Wisconsin Early Season Trout Opener.
Brad enquired:
Hello Andy,
I’m coming up from Iowa to fish Saturday’s opener. Can you give me a quick Rush and Kinni river update? Is the upcoming rain and snow going to cause problems with water clarity?
Thanks
Brad
It is the $64,000 dollar question. It is raining cats and dogs right now but should be done by tonight leaving the rivers a few days to calm. It will all depend on how much rain we get on frozen ground. The meteorologists are not quite sure yet. I will try to post updates on the blog with what I know. Everything looks great right now with flow rates slightly above normal.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI’m heading North for very small stream Brookies. Snowshoes? Check. Oh the “very” is in regards to the stream, not the fish of course. Good luck all.
