Yesterday afternoon the rivers took a spike in flow again. The fishing had been good until the latest rise in the run-off cycle. As the snow melts and the rain continues the flow rates will go up and down. The trick will be to hit the cycle of rising or falling. My favorite is when […]

The waters are receding but still running high from the flow data. Still dark when I left for the show so I can’t tell clarity level. see ya at the shop or at greatwaters.

The melt did not affect the waters. Midges by the bazillions yesterday. Fish not easy to catch as the day went on. I think the water got colder as the day went on.
