The only bugs in the air yesterday that I saw were crane flies, and the fish were not on them, the swallows were. Concentrate on the faster water using a combination of nymphs and Midge larva. These are the things that worked well yesterday on the two streams I fished. Rain came in heavy downpour on the Rush at about 2 PM Monday and it had not affected the water by 7 PM when I departed the river. The rain may have started earlier in the day to the North and West in the Kinni watershed but I have no credible reports on the water conditions in this area as I write this report.
